US list of 77 Chinese product categories for tariff cuts includes bed linen, curtains and blankets
The US and China have published the lists under which each side will consider reduced tariffs on roughly $30 billion of imports from the other. The 77 categories on the US list include bed linen, curtains, blankets and bathroom textiles; no reductions are in effect yet.

Under the so-called "30-for-30" framework, the US and China have published product lists under which each side will consider reduced tariffs on roughly $30 billion of imports from the other. The US list contains 77 Chinese product categories; China's list contains 1,619 US categories.
According to a sector analysis, the home textile items on the US list are electric blankets, wool blankets, selected bed linen, table linen, kitchen and bathroom textiles, and curtains and other furnishing articles. Apparel is not on the list.
The reductions have not yet taken effect: rates and implementation dates will be set through each country's domestic legal procedures. The official terms of reference also state that future tariff reductions "will be determined and implemented in accordance with each side's domestic legal processes".
According to the analysis, Chinese home textiles could face renewed price competition in the US if the relief takes effect. As the US is one of the largest markets for Turkish home textile exports, exporters should follow the implementation steps.
