Messe Frankfurt has announced 'Home-Maxxing – The Performance of Everyday Living' as the trend theme of Heimtextil 2027. Three sculptures with a metallised surface made from Sicilian orange by-products will be shown in the Trend Space.

Pakistan's towel exports rose 6.74% while bed wear fell 0.31%
The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) set a target of $3 billion in additional exports this year and $10 billion within two to three years. In July–August, towel exports rose 6.74% while bed wear exports fell 0.31%.

300 cm FR fabric for balcony curtains: no declared maker found in Türkiye
A curtain maker working in Switzerland is looking for fabric for outdoor curtains running on tracks for balconies and loggias: 300 cm wide, 100% polyester, flame retardant, light and weather fastness 7–8. A TRTex survey found no Turkish weaver declaring this class on its own website; for indoor screen, roller blind and curtain fabrics, however, there is a strong production base in Bursa, Kocaeli and Zonguldak/Ereğli.

US list of 77 Chinese product categories for tariff cuts includes bed linen, curtains and blankets
The US and China have published the lists under which each side will consider reduced tariffs on roughly $30 billion of imports from the other. The 77 categories on the US list include bed linen, curtains, blankets and bathroom textiles; no reductions are in effect yet.

Bangladesh's home textile exports rose 13.52% in September; US market reached $2.59bn
According to Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau, home textile exports grew 13.52% year on year in September and 11.94% in the July–September quarter. Total merchandise exports reached $3.93 billion in September.

India extends export tax rebate for home textiles and apparel to 31 December: 15,400 exporters
India's Ministry of Textiles has extended the RoSCTL tax rebate scheme for apparel and made-ups exports for 1 October–31 December 2026 at existing rates. The scheme reached more than 15,400 exporters in 2025-26.

Özdilek opens $120 million towel and bathrobe plant in Bursa: 6,600 tonnes a year
Özdilek Holding has commissioned a new production facility worth about $120 million in the Textile Dyers Specialised Industrial Zone (TOSAB) in Bursa, Türkiye. With weaving, dyeing and garment-making units, the plant can produce 6,600 tonnes of towels and bathrobes a year.
