According to data from Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), the country's home textile exports rose 13.52% year on year in September 2026 and 11.94% in the July–September quarter. The source attributes the growth to steady demand in key markets.
Total merchandise exports increased 8.54% year on year to $3.93 billion in September. Ready-made garment exports rose 8.56%, from $2.83 billion to $3.08 billion.
The United States remained Bangladesh's largest export market in the July–September quarter, with exports up 11.34% to $2.59 billion.
Bangladesh competes directly with Turkish manufacturers in home textiles such as towels, bed linen and bedspreads in the US and EU markets. The source does not give the dollar value of home textile exports.
