GTİP signifie Gümrük Tarife İstatistik Pozisyonu (position statistique du tarif douanier) : c'est la position à douze (12) chiffres du tarif douanier turc. Le tarif est établi sur la base de la nomenclature du Système harmonisé ; la législation douanière turque vise à assurer la concordance entre les applications du tarif et la Nomenclature combinée de l'UE (Türkiye).
