Short answer
GTİP stands for Gümrük Tarife İstatistik Pozisyonu (customs tariff statistical position): the twelve-digit position in the Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule. The schedule is based on the Harmonized System nomenclature, and Turkish customs rules aim at consistency between the schedule and the EU Combined Nomenclature.
