Spain's home textile fair: 75 buyers from 33 markets, 1,000 B2B meetings

Spain's home textile fair Textilhogar – Home Textiles Premium took place on 28 September–1 October 2026 at Feria Valencia, for the first time under the Valencia Inspira Diseño umbrella. According to the organisers, 75 invited buyers and specifiers from 33 markets in Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Africa attended, and about 1,000 B2B meetings were held.

43 of the 54 exhibitors at Textilhogar (about 80%) are from the Valencia region. The region's textile industry employs more than 21,000 people, with turnover above EUR 2.1 billion and exports above EUR 1 billion. Valencia Inspira Diseño, which brings together the furniture, home textile, kitchen and ceramics fairs (112,000 m², over 1,200 brands), recorded 54,388 professional visits, an estimated 21% increase on the 2024 joint event. 15% of visitors were international, mainly from Portugal, France, Italy, Mexico, the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Morocco, Poland, the UK and Belgium.

Why it matters

22.6% of visitors were interior designers and decorators, 17.9% retailers, 9.5% architects and 7.8% large distribution and buying groups. Home textiles are now sold in the same hall as furniture and interior architecture: customers of bed linen, towel, curtain and upholstery suppliers are moving towards the project and design side. Valencia's manufacturers are direct competitors in Mediterranean and European markets.

What members can do

  • Bed linen, towel and curtain makers: the 11 visitor countries (especially Portugal, France, Italy and Morocco) are target markets for Spanish competitors; direct your offers to interior designers and project buyers in these countries.
  • Contract and hotel suppliers: the merger with the furniture and interior fair shows that project-based buying is growing; give your contract collection (flame-retardant curtains, hotel bed linen) its own section in your catalogue.
  • Anyone selling to Spain: follow the buyer invitation programmes of ATEVAL and ICEX for the next edition now.
