ITHIB brings 24 firms to Belgrade: Serbia textile trade mission on 13–15 October
The Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) is bringing 24 Turkish textile companies together with international buyers in Belgrade on 13–15 October 2026 through its Serbia Textile and Raw Materials Sectoral Trade Mission.

The Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) is holding the Serbia Textile and Raw Materials Sectoral Trade Mission in Belgrade, the Serbian capital, on 13–15 October 2026. According to the announcement on the association's official account, 24 Turkish textile companies are taking part; the aim is to present the sector's production capacity and product range to international buyers in Belgrade and to open new business connections and export opportunities.
Last year's mission: 60 buyers, 236 meetings
ITHIB also led a trade mission to Belgrade on 29–31 October 2025, coordinated by the Turkish Ministry of Trade. According to the results published by the association, 24 firms took part and held 236 one-to-one business meetings (B2B) with 60 buyer companies from Serbia and the wider Balkan region.
The Serbian market
According to the Serbia country report of the Istanbul Apparel Exporters' Associations (İHKİB), Türkiye exported textiles and raw materials worth 125.4 million dollars to Serbia in 2020 (down 7.2%). The same report ranks Serbia as the 17th largest market for Türkiye's textile and raw material exports, which totalled 7.2 billion dollars that year. It is the most recent published country report; an official country figure for the current year is not yet public.
With its proximity to the European Union market and short delivery times, the Balkan region is a nearby market for Turkish fabric and home textile producers. TRTex will report the mission's results once ITHIB publishes them.
