Küçükçalık, with a USD 24m investment in Egypt, meets Egypt's Finance Minister
Küçükçalık Textiles of İnegöl, Bursa, took part at board level in the Türkiye–Egypt Roundtable held in Istanbul on 8 October by TOBB and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, with Egypt's Minister of Finance attending. The group expanded its home-textile production in Egypt in 2025 with a USD 24 million investment.
Küçükçalık Textiles, a home-textile manufacturer based in İnegöl, Bursa, took part at the level of its Deputy Chairman of the Board in the Türkiye–Egypt Roundtable held in Istanbul on 8 October 2026. The meeting was organised by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) together with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, with Egypt's Minister of Finance attending. Küçükçalık is one of the Turkish home-textile producers with a factory in Egypt.

Who was at the table and what was discussed
Participants included Egypt's Minister of Finance, the President of TOBB, Egypt's Ambassador in Ankara, the President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business representatives from both countries. The agenda covered Türkiye–Egypt economic and trade relations: companies presented their proposals on the business environment in Egypt, and the expansion of cooperation opportunities was discussed.
Küçükçalık announced its participation on its official Instagram account on 9 October: "We were pleased to take part in this important meeting, where trade relations and investment opportunities between the two countries were assessed."
On the same day Egypt's Finance Minister also spoke at the Istanbul Economy Forum organised by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye at the Istanbul Finance Centre, saying that Türkiye's much lower budget deficit and public debt compared with other countries give it "an extremely important advantage" (Anadolu Agency).
Küçükçalık's production base in Egypt
In July 2025 Küçükçalık Group (KCG) announced a new USD 24 million investment in Egypt's 10th of Ramadan Industrial Zone; Egypt's then Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment attended the groundbreaking. According to that announcement:
- Employment: the group employed around 1,800 people in Egypt; the investment was to add about 500 jobs, for a total of around 2,300.
- Products: curtain fabrics, bed linen, decorative cushion covers, tablecloths, upholstery fabrics and shower curtains, plus apparel for global brands.
- Export target: raising annual export value from Egypt to USD 100 million.
- Timeline: the new factory was scheduled to start operations in October 2025.

What it means for home-textile producers
In Küçükçalık's case Egypt is not only a market for a Turkish home-textile producer but a production base for curtain fabrics and bed linen. Companies passing their proposals on Egypt's business environment directly to decision-makers at a ministerial table is a topic to watch for curtain, upholstery and bedding producers that invest, or plan to invest, in Egypt.
