Curtain Accessories

Curtain accessories are the general name for the complementary parts used in sewing, hanging and operating a curtain, other than the curtain fabric itself. Sewing accessories are heading tape, lead-weight tape, hooks, rings, snaps and zips; hanging accessories are carriers, gliders, end caps, brackets and corner bends; decorative accessories are tassels, tie-backs, cords, fringes, bows and hold-backs. The choice depends on the curtain type: pencil pleat and pinch pleat need different heading tape and hooks, a motorised track uses different carriers, and a heavy drape needs brackets with a higher load capacity. Accessories are sold with the curtain or separately as spare parts; listing them item by item in the quotation reduces measuring and installation errors. In public procurement decorative textile accessories, lace and narrow woven goods are announced under CPV 39561000 (tulle, lace, narrow woven fabrics, trimming and embroidery), and hanging hardware under CPV 44115810 (curtain rails and hangings).
