Hospitality Textiles

Hospitality textiles are the full set of textile products used in accommodation, restaurant and healthcare facilities and produced for repeated industrial laundering: bed linen and sheets, towels and bathrobes, curtains and sheers, upholstery fabric, mattress protectors, tablecloths and napkins. What separates them from home textiles is not the product but the specification; every item is defined by wash cycles, dimensional stability, colour fastness, fire behaviour and ease of installation. Purchasing is usually project-based: initial fit-out at a new hotel opening, partial replacement at renovation, continuous replenishment in operation. The specification often bundles the curtain, bed and bath groups in a single tender, so a bidding manufacturer either produces several product groups itself or completes them with supply partners. In public and corporate procurement hospitality textiles are announced not under one CPV code but under the codes of the product groups: bed linen CPV 39512000, towels CPV 39514100, curtains CPV 39515000.
